महिंद्रा एंड महिंद्रा: मुनाफा मामूली बढ़ा, आय 4.9% बढ़ी
वित्त वर्ष 2014 की चौथी तिमाही में महिंद्रा एंड महिंद्रा का मुनाफा करीब 1 फीसदी बढ़कर 896.9 करोड़ रुपये हो गया है। वित्त वर्ष 2013 की चौथी तिमाही में महिंद्रा एंड महिंद्रा का मुनाफा 889.2 करोड़ रुपये रहा था।वित्त वर्ष 2014 की चौथी तिमाही में महिंद्रा एंड महिंद्रा की आय 4.9 फीसदी बढ़कर 11,000 करोड़ रुपये पर पहुंच गई है। वित्त वर्ष 2013 की चौथी तिमाही में महिंद्रा एंड महिंद्रा की आय 10,486.5 करोड़ रुपये रही थी।
चौथी तिमाही में महिंद्रा एंड महिंद्रा का एडजस्टेड ऑपरेटिंग मार्जिन महिंद्रा ट्रक्स एंड बसेस (एमटीबीएल) के मर्जर के बाद 14 फीसदी रहा। वहीं चौथी तिमाही में एमटीबीएल के मर्जर के बाद महिंद्रा एंड महिंद्रा का एडजस्टेड मुनाफा 975.6 करोड़ रुपये रहा।
साल दर साल आधार पर जनवरी-मार्च तिमाही में महिंद्रा एंड महिंद्रा के ट्रैक्टर कारोबार का मार्जिन 15.9 फीसदी से बढ़कर 17.7 फीसदी रहा। सालाना आधार पर चौथी तिमाही में महिंद्रा एंड महिंद्रा का एबिटडा 1,269.2 करोड़ रुपये से घटकर 907 करोड़ रुपये रहा।
सालाना आधार पर चौथी तिमाही में महिंद्रा एंड महिंद्रा का ऑपरेटिंग मार्जिन 12.1 फीसदी से घटकर 8.2 फीसदी रहा। वित्त वर्ष 2014 की चौथी तिमाही में महिंद्रा एंड महिंद्रा का 214 करोड़ रुपये का टैक्स रिवर्सल रहा। वित्त वर्ष 2013 की चौथी तिमाही में महिंद्रा एंड महिंद्रा ने 313 करोड़ रुपये का टैक्स भरा था। चौथी तिमाही में महिंद्रा एंड महिंद्रा को लंबी अवधि के निवेश की बिक्री से 52.8 करोड़ रुपये का एकमुश्त मुनाफा हुआ है।
Macquarie retains underperform rating on the stock with a target of Rs
13 per share as it is looking for more evidence of a pick-up in
execution or large asset sales before turning constructive.
The company's net sales during the quarter under review rose marginally
by 3.02 percent to Rs 1,865.69 crore during the fourth quarter, as
compared to Rs 1,810.89 crore during the same period of previous fiscal.
Both Macquarie and Credit Suisse maintain underperform rating on the stock with a target price of Rs 60 and Rs 30 respectively.
Brokerages are upbeat about the company. Deutsche Bank has a buy rating
on the stock with a target of Rs 470 per share. It feels that there
will a nil oil subsidy burden on HPCL from FY15 onward and hence
refining segment performance will improve.
Bank of America Merrill Lynch retains buy rating on the stock as it
expects OIL's FY15E EPS to rise by 60 percent Y-o-Y, driven by rise in
gas and net oil prices. It sees a 61 percent Y-o-Y rise in its gas price
to USD6.8/mmbtu from USD 4.2/mmbtu in FY14.
According to CNBC-TV18 poll estimates, analysts expect profit after tax
of the company to fall 9 percent year-on-year to Rs 522 crore during
the quarter due to margin contraction and higher tax rate.
Moody's already holds 28.5 percent in ICRA. Moody's contributes 15
percent of ICRA’s revenues. ICRA provides offshore rating services to
Moody’s. ICRA is the third-largest rating company in the country by
revenues.
The drug company will also receive funding to strengthen its generic
drug manufacturing facilities. It will get USD 147.5 million (over Rs
860 crore) funding from IFC, a member of the World Bank Group, to
strengthen its generic drug manufacturing facilities.
Kotak has revised its earning estimates for FY2015e/16e downwards by 13
percent and 21 percent to factor continued weakness in cement
realizations. It has downgraded the stock to reduce from add.
Investors continued to sell shares of GAIL, the state-run natural gas
processing and distribution company, after it reported dismal
performance in January-March quarter. The stock fell as much as 7.7
percent intraday to Rs 378.30.
The transaction includes six manufacturing facilities located in
Portland, Indiana; Chihuahua, Mexico; Saltillo Mexico; and Monclova,
Mexico; as well as an engineering and administrative center located in
Warren, Ohio. It also involves approximately 4,700 employees.
"The figures are not comparable as financial year has changed from
Jan-Dec to April-March.Consequently financial year 2013-14 is for 15
months ending March 2014. Hence numbers for the two periods are not
comparable," Strides Arcolab said.
Stocks like BEL, BEML, Pipavav Defence, BHEL and LT rallied 5-17
percent intraday on Monday as Modi is looked upon as one who will

216 as it feels from hereon the stock performance will be driven by
improving business fundamentals.
Brokerages are impressed by the auto-maker’s results. Bank of America
Merill Lynch has upgrades the stock to buy with a raised target of Rs
40 from Rs 18.8 per share. The firm expects it to be re-rated and sees
improving financial health and sustainable cash flows as key positives.
During the period, total income rose to Rs 1,833.28 crore. Its MD Anil
Jain, managing director says the company is likely to perform better in
FY15, registering around 18-20 percent growth.
The Gulf carrier is likely to invest in SpiceJet by purchasing its
parking slots overseas. Officials of the state-run Qatar Investment
Promotion Authority are likely to meet the top brass of SpiceJet
shortly, they added.
